The Dealertainers Of Las Vegas
Thursday, January 27th, 2011Next time you are in Las Vegas then make sure you take in the true Vegas experience with the Dealertainers playing at the Imperial Palace. They have been entertaining the crowds for many years and there is always a buzz around the place. This is especially true at the weekends when the Casino is full and the excitement level at its highest.
The Casino is part of the Harrah’s group and has a great location on the Strip. It has a reputation as a more budget friendly hotel as it is older and does not have some of the razzamatazz of the bigger glitzy places but it has a certain charm and atmosphere. It is a great place to hang out, people watch and enjoy the entertainment.
The action takes place about half way into the Casino. The ‘party pit’ is just like any other pit is run by the pit boss and his supporting staff. Most of the games played are Blackjack but they do have other popular games like 3 Card poker. From a gaming perspective it’s just like any other pit, it just has the unique Dealer aspect.
Each dealer in the party pit will be dressed up as a singing legend. This can range from Elvis all the way to Michael Jackson. They also have some more current singers like Rihanna so you will find a broad range of musical tastes on offer.
We find the best time to see the entertainment is either the Friday or Saturday night. They do perform during the week but we find the weekend Vegas energy just adds to the whole experience. A Dealertainer will come to the stage in the middle of the pit and perform. It will depend on the performer as to if they sing live or lip sync or what dance moves they bring. It can be a great way to play some cards and watch the entertainment.
Around the Party Pit we have always enjoyed the Waitress service for cocktails. They always seem to be frequent and very attentive. Give them some good tips and you will be set for great service.
